Agree. {#Sunny}'Beat' is often morphed into rhythm for many people, observed among the folk I know. For me the pulse is the (heart)beat and the rhythm covers the feel, the instrumentation, the layering and the overall effect, long before I try to get the lyrics, if there are any. Enjoy.

You do realise there are more people listening to RP outside of the USA than in it?

Please try to think global. . . insular thinking is one reason why American policy is so distrusted throughout the world.

Sounds like Black Sabbath's "Planet Caravan" when you play the 33 1/3 at 45.

Seriously.

I could list dozens of successful singers with odd and interesting voices.  I happen to think her voice is odd and different enough to be unique.  Sure, she may not be the best singer out there, but I'd bet she's better than you.

Certainly better than I.

I was slow on board with this group, but they are growing on me. This is the song that did it.

Something about the whole ambiance of Fever Ray just kicks me in the kidneys (in a good way.)  I love this music. It's eerie, eclectic, and motivating. Every time I hear one of their songs, my brain starts creating ideas for short stories or kitchen organization. Don't ask - it'd only give you a headache. {#Sunny}

Album bought and loved as well; ideas for short stories or kitchen organization-hilarious.
