This is a great album, and it definitely has the scent of the late 60s, early 70s, Carole King, Laura Nyro; but WTF is with the name???

In order to properly diagnose your personality disorder we need some more information -

Do you often want to resort to violence when you don't like something?
Has Beth Orton ever done something to you other than sing songs?
       Are you hostile toward everyone?
Are you hostile toward other women?
Until we get more information and can get you the proper help you need, I would recommend you not listen to any more Beth Orton.

Hey, I heard that too. I like both artists.

And I don't understand why I like both their styles, yet I have a strong desire to kick Beth Orton in the backside everytime I hear her voice. Can anyone explain that to me?

Yep....I mean except for the desire to kick her!  Good song though.

This is a great album (such a dumb name). She reminds me in a way of Carole King or Laura Nyro, maybe even Joni a  little.

This is a great album. Kind of 60s-ish to me. But the name is so weird.

An interesting bio:

But no explanation of the name.

I think it's lovely.  Introspective and unclothed ... exposing heart, soul, and skin?  Can someone make a connection between this and "as Police Woman?"  I can't.

So is this Joan (of Arc) playing police women, or is this some other women as a Police Women?  Of what?  Weird....

Intro sounds a lot like Peter Gabriel ... something off "Us?"
