Terrific album, and I love the notion of a cello solo not to mention its deft execution.

Okay, so perhaps the simplicity and purity of Murdoch's "some day soon" not so rare, this one is another inspired work, thanks.

A lot of folks would be surprised at the popularity of bands like this in New England. However, the old reels and such from Scotland, and the British Isles in general, had a huge musical influence there.

I'm loving the whole surge in string bands - Crooked Still, Trampled By Turtles, Infamous Stringdsuters, etc. I love Aoife O'Donovan's voice. (and she is a cutie!).

Thanks for playing this song! Check out Crooked Still's debut album, "Hop High", if you like this group. Great progressive bluegrass from talented musicians, and the singing of Aoife O'Donovan is mesmerizing.

I couldn't be more envious. You've Prousted me right back to summers in southern Indiana, at one of the many music fests around Bloomington or over in Nashville.... Sublime. |

Bill, this is one of your better sets: Loreena McKennitt, "Huron Beltane Fire Dance" Show of Hands, "Roots" Crooked Still, "Undone In Sorrow"
