Seeing these guys live, although very energetic, did nothing for my low opinion of this band.

The more I listen to Mumford & Sons, the more I like it.  It grows on you, but not in a bad way.

cool.  The human voice is a fine instrument that doesn't require tuning..although many would if they could...but wait..if you never use it, it will get out of tune....forget it !

I'm sorry-I said I wasn't going to say much. I just turned on the "radio" again. This was so GENERIC of the "music"now. Guess I should go out and listen to the crickets and birds. Probably which so many of you haven't heard.....silence CAN be golden. OUCH,huh?ha ha.

What a bloody beautiful song rendering one tearful sometimes...it's all about having the courage to go on for someone one really loves..or something.

Update: At her urging we're going to see Noah and the Whale Friday night at the 9:30 Club. Who'da thunk it?

I usually like a little screaming guitar but will settle for some manic banjo playing.

The album rapidly climbed to a 4, stalled there for a bit, and now it's sinking like a stone.

Not really, as I bought this album based on hearing it here. It lacks depth and complexity. It's good for a few listens. But then it really loses its charm. All the songs seem the same. And it really never took me anywhere.

I gave this song an 8. And that still stands. But the album is a solid 4. Pretty disappointing overall.
