Keep in mind, Athens, Ohio has never, to my knowledge, produced any famous musicians.  Except perhaps The Rarely Herd and Red Wanting Blue.  But neither of them would make it here, or even commercial radio for that matter and clear channel will play any crap.

Hailing from Appalachia, I can personally attest to the music from at least my corner of that area.  It sounds nothing like this. 

That doesn't mean it's any better...  just not like this.

Keep in mind, Athens, Ohio has never, to my knowledge, produced any famous musicians.  Except perhaps The Rarely Herd and Red Wanting Blue.  But neither of them would make it here, or even commercial radio for that matter and clear channel will play any crap.
