One of the best songs from a very spotty solo career. Oh John, why did you have to hook up with that daughter-of-a-Japanese-industrialist artist wannabe? It's 1968, the "Let It Be" movie is released and playing at the Montrose Theater in Houston. Yoko comes on screen for the first time to boo's throughout the house. A few years later a billionaire writes "Imagine no possessions." How fatuous is that?
I remember seeing the video for this song sometime in the early 80's. The picture of John and Yoko on the boat stuck in my head for many years up to the point I could not remember if it was actually part of the video or just my imagination. Thanks to YouTube this mystery could be solved.
standard Lennon— an absolutely brilliant song with fantastic music...

What a wonderful way to start my Saturday! Clear, blue sky, nip in the air, a cup of strong coffee, and this song. Life, at this moment, is very, very good.
