The Waifs may be back sometime in the future.  Certainly the Simpson sisters will.

I thought of Lucinda too when I first heard this.

Nice song.  The Waifs are currently "on hiatus" and possibly broken up.  Donna Simpson (currently living here in MN)  says "you never know".

Donna Simpson (co-founder) has left MN, is now back in Freemantle (Australia),  just had a baby and most importantly (for fans) perhaps will get back "in the game".
The Waifs are so much fun!

Correct.  Erik Koskinen produced the album & plays on 3 other songs, but not this one.

My mistake, but IMD the credits on allmusic list Koskinen on slide. They list Cunningham, but not on slide.

My two centavos' worth:  Yep, "it is what it is" .. and that's a fact folks.  BTDT, oh so many times but a man never learns, no he don't. At least this man don't.  Cynaera, you were right all along.

Walking Blues.. Head filled with pain and some thinking to be done... Walk-It-Out... Don't we -all- learn the hard way, if we learn at all...?

Mmmm...I don't like this one—-it's just too much like this old country song; I'll get back to you on which one—-it was already a very basic song

Wonderful basic beat. Love the slide and her vocals. Sweet and simple. No overdubs here

Really find this one annoying....one of those odd ones where I like it less and less each time I hear it.

Maybe because the Waifs are ripoff artists, like the rest of us...

I like the low end on the acoustic guitar, it really has a really full sound in headphones.

Heard it for the first time today.... knocked my socks off!! Had no idea that the Waifs could sound like this. Great song and I have made several friends listen to it. All agree, this one is special.
For those who enjoy West Coast Swing dancing, this song is a perfect tempo for a "Nite Club Two Step" dance.
