True that. She's got the kind of open-throat from-the-diaphragm style you rarely hear any longer.
Glad I somehow missed the saturation that others are complaining about - can enjoy her fresh.

Always nice to stay positive, but can't. Sorry. Sounds like the soundtrack for a car commercial.

Reminds me of something you'd hear in a Bob Hope - Bing Crosby film...you know, fun stuff!

I have RP on all day at work in the background and every time this song starts up, it catches my attention. I love it...very catchy and fun.

I actually like the music much more than her voice.
Stardust83 Posted: Mar 21, 2012 - 05:21
Well, good for her! It's nice to hear a Dutch artist on an international radio station. We hear this particular song all the time in Holland, but it's a good start ;-). It's a shame people have to be so negative, even here where I imagine a lot of people who love a great variety of music 'come together'.

I support the creation of a new sub-genre: "swanky jazz". Who else is in there? Peggy Lee, Capitol era Frank, Melody Gardot, Madeleine Peyroux... who else?

Aaaarrggghhh, she's the so-called Dutch superstar. One of the very few that seem to make it outside of the Dutch borders. Good for her, not for me. Horrible fake person who acts as being nice but in fact is very arrogant. And the last few years she headlined every medium large festival her in the Netherlands. Sigh, i'm so tired of hearing and seeing this woman... 2

Her other track - That Man, is often before or after Mocean Worker.
