Wailin' Jennies formed in 2002.

AKUS formed in 1987.

Who is echoing whom?

OK, the last couple of comments got a bit weird below... so I'll take us back to what these comments were really designed to do. Alison has such a beautiful voice, I can always tell it's her, and the Union Station are awesome. Played a lot here, but yet another reason why I love to listen to RP!

rdo:

I think you, already several times, you make replicas to my comments, in a manner no cortez, until overt and rude, which to me makes me think that goes for a lot of frustration there. Probably you need some new friends. So you not talk to me never more.

Just few words, not about songs, but about RP:
I'm not sure, but I think some changes to the site of RP, can lead, for members and visitors, to a certain disinterest and withdrawal of participation, such as exclusion of the option "Request this song" exclusion of "web-camera studio", excluding the option "online members", the constant appeal to "HD Slideshow" (function dispensable, who is passively watching repeated random images? when there are numerous sites specialized in high-quality images, with slide-show?). I think the most important in a website is the interest shown by the airplay, but also by the interactivity of the forums, comments, etc.. It is important to note that the season of RP is alive, attended and participated. For this to happen, it is of any interest that people are focused on the pages of songs, for all reasons.

I have never seen you once reply to another commenter's post.  Never.  You write rebarbative comments that no one understands, and I am making major allowances for the language barrier.  You take up more bandwidth than any other commenter, more than the next 20 highest combined.  Your comments are 50,000 feet above the rest in terms of their condescension.  You post adverts and plugs and meaningless promotional materials for bands.  You waste my time.

Start engagng, or go away.

Wulfing Art

She was a child of the Holocaust - she witnessed all manner of atrocity around her, yet she was able to produce the beautiful, ethereal works that survived that horrific time. Someone found one of her drawings, trampled in the mud, and rescued it. How someone so oppressed and persecuted could produce such beautiful, calming images is not so much a mystery as a testimony to ourselves.

"Just can't imagine why this was said."

Because the song evoked these images.......some people are drawn to think that way. Me too.

Been a fan since "Rising Sand", what a great voice, love the instrumentation and arrangement on this tune. Vocal harmonies are awesome. It's well produced but not over produced.

Her work is gorgeous! I agree with you...it doesn't seem like this came from someone who was experiencing the very worst humankind can be. What a gift she gave us. Thank you for sharing!
