I'd prefer to call them a bunch of wankers, but that's just me as a bitter American who blames a large part of current global recession on greedy bankers screwing people to line their own pockets.

Stunningly good. A shock on the vocal gender progenitor, but still stunningly good.

"banker", "anchor" - that just calls out for another rhyming word... :o)

Clue: a group of financial suits is often known as a 'wunch', as in 'a wunch of bankers'.

As for the song, this guy's voice just gives me earache after a while :(

There are a few artists for whom I just can't reconcile the voice with their true gender—Tracy Chapman always did that to me with 'Give Me One Reason' back when it first came out (in an opposite case scenario of course). {#Lol} Doesn't affect my enjoyment of the music. Just saying... I guess I will always hear a woman singing first when this plays.  Goosebumps when I hear this with the lyrics though.

Hehehe — yes I thought this sounded like Nelly Furtado!  I like it — just surprised to find out it is a male singer.

Lyrics (from his website):

She said baby you're my gold -
I said no babe, I'm your banker
She said baby you're my chains -
I said no babe I'm your anchor
I said baby you're my wings -
she said no babe, you're a fish
I said baby you're my dream -
she said no hun, I'm your wish

She said baby you're my river -
I said no babe, I'm your drain
She said baby you're my color -
I said no babe I'm your stain
I said baby you're my diamond -
she said no babe, I'm just your pick
I said baby you are magic -
she said no hun, just a trick

She said baby you can see me -
I said baby I just sense
She said baby you're my castle -
I said no hun, I'm your fence
I said baby you're my lover
she said no hun just your maid
I said baby I adore you -

she said no babe you're just afraid.
