That little vocal "AH AOWoWA" thing is so bad it's embarrassing.

"The tiger inside will eat the child"

Every year, indoor tigers are the cause of far too many preventable deaths and injuries.  Protect yourself and your household: keep your tiger in a professionally-installed outdoor enclosure that conforms to your local building codes.  This has been a public service message from the National Safety Council, the National Association of Tiger Enclosure Construction Contractors, the Ad Council, and Radio Paradise.

Bill suggested that the lyrics were worth some attention, so after a quick search, here they are:

Wade in the rising water
Walk in the sinking sand
Crawl through the shadow valley
To try to understand

I climbed a Jacob's ladder
I fell down holy stairs
I found Siddhartha's temple
No answer anywhere

The minute you think you know you got it
Is the minute you know it's gone for good
The second you pause his claws are on it
The tiger inside will eat the child

Oh
< Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsty.com/kate-miller-heidke-the-tiger-inside-will-eat-the-child-lyrics.html >
I saw a hall of mirrors
I saw a burning wheel
I saw a rain of arrows
I lost the way to feel
I saw a million faces
Stare at a fallen sky
I saw the last horizon
The end of time

Chorus

Speaking in quiet whispers
You hear it everywhere
It leaves as you're arriving
Arrives and you're still there

You drink, the cup is empty
You pour, the cup is full
You'll never get to hold it
It's always holding you
It's always holding you
It's always...

certainly more thought-provoking than the lyrics of many songs I listen to.

'course it does - as you, yourself, gets older your own inner child will eventually be devoured. If this has not already happened?

Comments complaining about hateful comments are more annoying than the hateful comments themselves, in my opinion. Maybe the thought police can give it a rest.

Dear all you Nattering Nabobs of Negativism -  sure this song isn't for everyone (I liked it), but c'mon!  Look at the three comments below this one. They're funny! They're nice! They put you in a better mood yes?
{#Sunny}

postscript - now look at the comment above this one. whoops - sour mood again {#Ass}
by the way, I'm not policing their thoughts, I was referring to their comments.

Fatty gets a stylist...even though I think she has a great voice, clever, dark lyrics and an awesome sense of humour, the fact that the band was called "Fatty gets a stylist" gives her an instant 8.

there's something about this song - not normally something I'd Ever like but something about it must appeal - every time I hear it I like it more.

Not terribly great, but not too bad either, despite the awkward title…

I don't get it. Why do so many people hate this song?  Its not my favorite song in the world or anything, but I don't feel any animosity towards it.  Maybe y'all should just lighten up.

I like the sentiment expressed by the song title, as we have too many children, and too few tigers in the world. The song, however, doesn't live up to the promise.
