if you define dylan by the tonal quality of his voice then you've completely missed the point.when i listen to songs like tangled or idiot wind i completely forget about that aspect and live that moment in his words...both beautiful and biting

I have a lot of regard for Dylan. I just have to say that he is not among the gods of rock because he was never in a band (I am guessing). He has many really good songs, but just one great one. Does anyone know why he could not collaborate? I swear collaboration is the key to great rock. This is a watershed in the history of art.
