One of the lovely Cashew Hill jungle cottages One lucky Radio Paradise supporter will be heading off (with a companion) for the ultimate getaway: a week at Cashew Hill Jungle Lodge in beautiful Puerto Viejo, on Costa Rica's Caribbean coast. The trip includes airfare from anywhere in the continental US or Canada, lodging for 7 days & 6 nights at Cashew Hill, and an optional overnight stay at the Adventure Inn Hotel in San Jose.

We're very pleased to be able to offer this trip to one of our supporting listeners. We truly appreciate being able to what we do here at RP, and we love being able to give something back in return.

You'll be responsible for meals (cheap), beverages (even cheaper), and sightseeing activities. Puerto Viejo is a super-relaxed Caribbean village that moves to a reggae beat. Uncrowded beaches, surfing, snorkeling, biking, hiking, amazing wildlife, excellent restaurants, and friendly people will make this truly a trip to remember. Bill & Rebecca have been there twice & can personally give Puerto Viejo two thumbs way up.

We'd like to thank the folks at Cashew Hill for making this contest possible. If you don't win the trip, definitely consider a visit there on your next vacation. They've recently remodeled and expanded their facilities, and they now offer fully-equipped cottages with gourmet kitchens, and there's a wonderful grocery store located nearby.

Those of you who contribute via automatic support payments or snail mail will also be entered automatically — including quarterly or annual supporters. If you win, we'll work with you & with Cashew Hill to come up with a date for the trip. Certain holiday periods (Christmas, Easter, etc.) may not be available. We will provide airfare from the nearest major international airport. Connecting flights from smaller airports will not be included. If you live outside of the US or Canada, we'll cover the US-to-Costa Rica portion of your trip. The winner will need to claim the prize within one year of the date it is awarded. The deadline for entries is midnight on Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010 and the drawing will be held at noon on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010.

You must be 18 years of age or older to enter. RP employees — along with their relatives, friends, spiritual advisors, and animal companions — are not eligible. The prize will be awarded via a random drawing from all entries received. One entry per person, please. Multiple entries won't hurt your chances, but duplicates will be discarded before the drawing.
