Neshabur, home of Omar Khayam, author of the Rubaiyat, renowned for its hedonism.

Just human nature, I figger. Most music lovers are pretty passionate about their fave tunes and often take it personally when one insults said music. I'm usually OK with it as long as people aren't being nasty just for the sake of being nasty.
Everyone has their own tastes, right?; let's all get along! |

Complaining that all of Santana "sounds" the same while considering a Cut off his first album is like complaining about a Doors or LZ "sound" off their first albums.
Carlos stood the Test of Time.
And these local krittiks should listen to Later Pieces.
That his Guitar is Distinctive is the kind of rap that Hendrix, Clapton, Krieger, Paige, etc. get...........
Justa Sign of Greatness.

I agree that he's talented, but I've seen dogs play fetch at no end before too. The same trick does get old after 30+yrs. I guess I just never saw what the big deal was.

Santana anti-fan club? People who are against fans?
No, I know what you meant.
It's a ten for YOU no matter what the haters say.

The top guitar sounds soooo Camel-like, but then in come the bongos and you just know you're in Santana land. All very reminiscent of the 70s...

Whew...didn't and that's a good thing. I can see how that final tinkling on the piano would be tempting. |

The Kinks and the Allman Brothers are great but I've never heard either band burn a Yoruba 12/8 rhythm in quite the same way. |
