I saw them perform at the Santa Barbara Bowl on their tour. What a show! Knopfler did a version of Romeo and Juliette that was absolutely mind boggling. And the band! Every one of them stellar. And, we got a free CD with the tickets. What a deal.

Exactly. Thank you. I bought this song from iTunes while listening to it for the first time on RP.

Was Sinatra's Duets really that bad?

I'd never listened to Emmylou much before this--my loss. As for Mark Knopfler: one of my ATF guitarists.

This whole album is one of the best marriages of talent I think I've ever heard lately. Frank Sinatra's Duets can go on to the house and wash up, as they've just received a major dump-upon, as it's shown for the commercial product it is.
