I had to look and see who it was — I was thinking an acoustical Foo Fighters, granted the voice is off, but not by much... Very nice.

It's a little too upbeat and peppy.  The hardcore drum beats and thrash guitar licks will haunt me forever.

There's a great restaurant in Leland called The Bluebird, I cant go up north without stopping in.  Cant say as I have ever heard music this good there, but it is still a nice place.

I really like this.  It is about style and mood, to me.  And simplicity.  It creates a feeling and my heart responds.  :)

I like this very much.  It reminds me of some of the most recent stuff from THe Blue Nile.  8

What's the point? This is terrific, modern, American roots music. These guys are story tellers, they tell tales of longing, of hardship, and of strange characters that make up the American fabric. These are gorgeous songs, with sweet melodies but you have to listen closely.

Couldn't agree more ...
Though, not just American. Travellers, " tales of longing, of hardship, and of strange characters"  have no nationality. Their territories are roads, anywhere, everywhere.
This takes me elsewhere, listening to a story, building up a small personal movie with his voice and the words and the music.

Some say depressing.
Some say uninspiring.
Some say not their best song.

Wow...great song...my girlfriend and I both drifted off to it together, but still very much conscious of the song.  Phenomenal.
