The Four Flicks DVD set has this tune on it with Woody on guitar.  I would say his take on this is no better or worse than Mick Taylor's.  Different, certainly —- dirtier sounding and less lyrical.

I was going to add that Woody was therefore a better fit for the Stones, but when I started thinking about that I realized that it was in fact Mick Taylor who was on all the classic albums.

So maybe you're right.

Absolutely! Mick was with them during their epic era (Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main Street, Goatshead Soup, Its Only Rock n Roll)...but they never really took to him as "part of the band" for some odd reason.  And Keith always refers to that era as the just making time era musically *shrugs*

Okay so, I wasn't alive when this was released, so allow me to comment on this cover art I've never seen before.  Nice c*ck.
Also, why are your hands all sticky?

This must have come out during that "sexual revolution" I've heard so much about.

It's Mick Taylor, the guitarist that replaced the late Brian Jones in the Stones.

Sometimes... "cool" just drips from a photo.  Especially when it's REAL with a completely unpretentious set of guys just talking about their jobs.

It is a good thing that it is a long song or we'd miss that second part of the song that I really like.... Given the contribution of Mick Taylor to this song you'd think he'd get some writing credits. Never understood how credits work when part of the band adds a definitive solo like this.
