Yeah! I totally agree! Great fade from Pink Floyd!

Meddle is one of the most underated Floyd albums! Everyone always forgets it but I think it's up there with Wish you Were Here and Animals.

Rock on!

The Manics are excellent live - you're always likely to get a good rant from Nicky Wire.

Totally agree. I believe is time for them to think about retiring.

Descerning listeners might realize that this band has taken a lot from Guns'n Roses and turned into something incredibly different, vibrant, and well put group. One of the most touching songs would be Ocean Spray, about James Bradfield's mother dieing of cancer. The trumpet solo is absolutely stunning. I honestly find Know Your Enemy an excellent album spanning a wonderful set of topics, and frankly, it shows off their terrific evolution from a Guns 'n Roses clone. However, I really like Roses in the Hospital. Stay away from album called The Holy Bible if you don't like loud, raucous, and controversial music ;) It's not their best as I can't listen to it more than once every few weeks but it makes many pungent points.

I like them okay--based, again, on just this song. I guess I find the song's message more appealing than its musical mechanics, but that seems to me a perfectly valid reason to like a song. Not sure I feel inspired--yet, anyway--to go for the album. Would want to hear more first, and I haven't even heard the other two cuts in the RP library.

Yes, andrewpickford81 is right to correct me, there's only 3m of us according to the 2001 Census, but that doesn't include many of us who live elsewhere in the world. I stand by my comments on MSP though!

It's not true. I'm in India and the African savannah and I've not run into him. This is just a story intended to add romanticism to an otherwise typical musician's suicide.

I always think this is The Scorpions. Except not as good.
At least "Winds of Change" has that melancholy little whistling bit at the beginning.
Contrived drivel.
