As it drags on, I'm continuously amazed how very boring this song is.

nah, i'm not going to. but i should since i've already started to. ok here it goes:
or maybe not, when i better think about it. that's it, i'm just not going to say anything about Van Morrison. he's just old. not even dead.

you guys ever listened to Treat Her Right? now that's some BLUES baby. yeah. Mark Sandman played bass there. he's dead now. but it doesn't matter cuz Treat Her Right broke up before his death. so that didn't destroy THT. but it destroyed Morphine. now Morphine, that used to be the best band in America. trust me.

Pointless, yet incoherent.

Is this Van Morrison? You sure can tell from his voice that he's older now than when he recorded "brown eyed girl". Pretty good song, though.

Just like Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Elton John, Bryan Ferry (etc.?), Van Morrison goes back to his roots (a bit more). Seems to be a trend among "oldies" (except Mick Jagger maybe).
As long if it's not just repeating what has been done (better) in the past, it's very fine with me. Certainly when the quality of the songs is as high as this one.
