a perfect follow up to a pair of dead tunes.  i heard once somewhere (who knows where and if it is true or not) that during an interview it was asked of jerry what would happen if the GD ceased to exist?, his answer...WIDESPREAD PANIC

Panic has a terrific range, Country to Rock, slow, fast, they do it all.
Holden Oversoul is my fave!

RP gang.  This station is amazing.  I'm a big time widespread panic fan, and your panic collection has room for improvement.  I think the RP fans would really love some of the other parts of WP's portfolio...  Try "Wondering", "Diner", "Jack", "Surprise Valley", "I'm Not Alone" and on it goes...

Nice tune, great bunch of guys....they hung out at my pad one night after their gig in Chapel Hill, N.C. (UNC) circa '89.....

Always loved their tune "Hatfield" too

I thought this might be good (very good) Dave Matthews' Band song (which, of course as we all know, is either (a) an oxymoron, (b) a musical impossibility or (c) the eighth sign of the apocalypse).  Instead its just good ol' Widespread Panic.

I think this is one of Porcupine Tree's better songs. Wait, what's that? Oh, nevermind.

Perhaps it's a cultural thing but this song typifies a common post-grunge, faux-angst lameness. There are SO many American bands that sound like this. What's the attraction? What am I not getting? Doesn't anyone else feel the sentiment in performances such as this is contrived and inauthentic?

Er where's the angst?

I really like the sound of this song, the pace, the guy's voice, etc . .  but the lyrics are fairly weak.  Good Tune!

I bought Widespread Panic's Don't Tell the Band because I heard Little Lilly on RP.  I like this band a lot & I'm amazed I hadn't heard of them before.  I played them for my 72 year old mom the other day and she was thrilled!

Great tune. Sounds a bit "Porcupine Tree" to me (which is probably why I dig it so much).
