Can dig the ocean and boat stuff, all sounds good, but I can do without those leaky goats. Never had much use for them. |

Better than both Brickel or Vega to me. By better I mean more enjoyable, maybe not technically. |

I continued to listen to the station whenever I was even remotely within their broadcasting range. A brief history of the station is available on this page: http://www.angelfire.com/nj2/piratejim/njfmhistory10.html. eMpTv personality Matt Pinfield was first heard on WHTG during those years (1989-1992-3-4) that I was listening. I'll never forget his gravelly voice. It was quite a shock to see his Uncle Fester-like visage on TV after listening to him all those years. ;-) WHTG was truly one of the best radio stations I ever had the good fortune to happen on to. Radio Paradise is certainly another in the same class. same here - I was heavily influenced by 106.3 in my early teens and it helped shape my musical interests permanently. the station did not have a strong signal and I'd spend a lot of time just tuning my radio but it was always worth it. the last time or 2 I went back to jersey and tuned in, the station's signal has gotten stronger but the music is much, much weaker. |

There are a lot of cuts on the Sundays' too-few albums that are really, really good—at least as good as the songs that made it into FM rotation in the '90's. Dig, Bill, dig! These albums are a great place to find treasures.
Which is not to take one thing away from this fine song. Any decade where The Sundays were overplayed can't have been all bad—take me back...please!

I agree. I've always loved this song. The phrasing of the lyrics and the melody are also wonderful. |

This song, for some reason, reminds me of perfume and angora sweaters for some reason. Must've had a crush on some chick who wore both when this song was popular.

For me, the Sundays' music has really stood the test of time well. It has been almost 20 years since this album was released, and it still sounds fresh.

Let me guess, do you get all huffy if someone says "God bless you" when you sneeze? Seriously, what did bringing up the topic of your atheism add to the discussion here? Gonna give it an 8 because, like Jungle_Jim, I also had a crush on a girl in the early 90's, and this may have made it onto my personal rotation once or twice. Good times. |
