I'm sorry but how does it deserve a 9.1? It's constantly the chorus over and over and over... Definitely a very weak one by a band that did waaaaaaaaaaay better than this....
3 Its the simple thing the Beatles did! And full of feelings! |

My standard for a perfect 10 is "In My Life" so this gets a 9. Still, not too shabby.

I looove this song so much although it's a bit bittersweet... played it at my mom's burial. Kind of good timing for hearing this since yesterday was the 16th anniversary of her passing. It always makes me tear up a little. But what a beautiful melody.

You know what? It fits for midsummer, too. Especially when you live on the foggy coast of Northern California. |

There needs to be a "20" for this album. It is way past godlike.

Really neat animation, nice little tidbits here and there if you watch closely. :)
They did a great job of that. Shows understanding and respect - the earth shaking beneath the English garden is a beautiful bit of whim. (...I would have used a few less penguins). |

This version sounds strange to me. The vocal sounds mixed well below the instrumental parts. Has this been remastered by someone with delusions of superior soundscape? And I must agree that this is one of the more perfect songs of the past decades. There was a time when this was the new music of the day, played on lots of radio stations. Back when the world was fresh.
