This genre of music was good and very under the radar until DMB and this guy ruined it for me, now I can't stand even Ben Harper ... n ... it's all POP now :(

If he used more than 4 notes and 2 note progressions, this might be interesting, but sadly it's Ho-Hum all the way. For that matter, this has been a pretty ho-hum morning with the last half-dozen or so numbers being snoresville. Or maybe I'm just in a grump after returning to wage-slavery after the holidays :(

I know everyone has commented about how negative they feel about Jack Johnson.  I like him alot because even though everything seems the same, it is soothing.  It is comforting.  Maybe it is his voice, I dont know, but I like it...

Oops. Wasn't that a David Gray song I heard about 1/2 hour ago? Now Jack Johnson. That guy gets on my last nerve. He received an overdose of cool somewhere, and it's not wearing off. You better play something I really, really like soon, or I'll... I'll... turn the volume down slightly. That's right, you heard me! Slightly!!!!

This makes 3 for 3. Pure bubble gum. I'm getting mental cavities. I'll check back later...

I usually make more of an effort to make positive comments ... but I need to register my irritation with his music ... i can understand why RP includes him on their play list ... it is surprising to me how something so bland can be so grating ... and i guess it is because his music is everywhere

Ugh.    The most commercial artist of them all.  I listen to RP to AVOID stuff like this!!  How do you decide which song to accept?  They all sound EXACTLY the same....
