So Joe Cocker can't do With a Little Help From My Friends? Only Ringo? How about Richie Havens? He's doen a ton of Beatles songs.
Seems kind of unfair.
Not to mention the fact that The Beatles pretty much got started doing covers.
This is a great twist on a classic. |

I had to learn ukulele in grade 8 and have always thought it sucked as an instrument.
I'll have to revise my opinion now...

Part of this song reminds me of some of the guitar work on Jean-Louis Aubert's live album. (I followed the link on RP's home page for Amazon France.
Both are great!

Nicely performed, but IMHO, the first part is much too high -- no bass at all.
Gets better later.

Small fingers too I bet.Theres only 4 strings on a uke and the fretboard is really tiny and cramped.
They're pretty easy to play though(not like this of course) and pretty relaxing. |

I understand totally, but check out the acoustic version from "Love," with the additional lyrics -- might be the finest performance ever from Harrison. |

Scooped! I was going to say it reminded me of Tiny Tim playing Over the Rainbow. The middle part is cool, but it's getting way old. |

The idea is nice, but I can't help finding it a bit... what's the word... twee.
Maybe that's because of what you hear: twee, twee twee twee...

Nice, but I'm going to quickly tire of it if it remains in the rotation on this current schedule. It's one of those jems that should be rolled out a little more sparingly, IMHO.
