Sounds more like John Lennon to me.

Wish I had the chance to have seen them in Halifax with Neil Young, instead of the dreadful band he had with them that night. They are good.

the lyrics to this song are very, very good...

They're devotees, that's for sure. I hear it even more in the latest album.

I try, and I try...but I just don't like Wilco the same way others do.  *sigh*

It seems Wilco can craft some very fine songs.  But still, there somethings missing.  They are like a steely dan, without the great licks and melodies.

Yeah there's no payoff.  Beatle-y sounds, short little melodies, but it doesn't have any soul.  And in the end, it just kind of ends.

I'm not a big Wilco fan, but this is quite good.

I find it Simon and Garfunkle ish(the Boxer)  with a sprinkle of Bob Dylan(everything he's done) and Tom Petty droppings( for good balance and measure)...etc etc  ( sounds good to moi!!)...then again, I like Music{#Clap}

I sure do like those Wilco guitars.  Who is that guy (Nels Cline?)?  Embarrassing because I own this album.  Shows how much I read of an album (listened to it a lot though).
