Yes, yes, yes, yes, there's always music even when there's talking, and yes. "It Might Get Loud" is highly recommended for any fan of the electric guitar. It's fun watching Jack White look like he's about to start squealing like a little girl when Jimmy Page starts playing "Whole Lotta Love" for him. |

Don't forget Brendan Benson is here. He's the one singing. It ain't all Jack White

These folks must work at the Salvation Army between gigs. Good music, a David Byrne album cover.

Jack White is up there with Steven Wilson as far as song writing goes. Simply amazing talent.

Really like this song and the others I've heard here on RP by this group. I really think the piano adds a lot to this one.

You got it backwards. 8 is less than 9, not greater than. (Yeah, I know....) |

When I saw White Stripes at the Berkeley Greek, Jack played the piano, guitar, and drums, all astoundingly skilfully. Combined with his stellar songwriting abilities he is, IMHO, the talent of his generation. |

I like it. I'm not a fan of the white stripes, frankly I think their music sucks, but this is great. I like it from the first melancholy piano notes. It didn't disappoint me throughout. A solid 8.

I sure would like to hear more from Jack and Meg White on here, Bill. "You Don't Know What Love Is", or "The Hardest Button To Button" would be a good fit. I think so, anyway. |
