Yeah, I just came here to make sure I wasn't crazy, it's really, really terrible overuse of autotuning. Voted 1, it's too bad they couldn't find someone who can sing for this track, which seems like it could have been nice. |

Here's an example of a song that's inferior to Dear Prudence.

And here I thought he just had a great voice. |

I just spotted a review of this CD online today. "The second song "Part of you" reveals a hint of something of an aural trademark for this CD - Jon's voice is overdubbed with itself, but in the higher register, a technique repeated throughout, albeit sometimes reversed, the lower register providing the harmony, but the overall effect is rather pleasing."
The full review can be read here. |

It is clear that Redfern should just wait for two or three minutes into the song before he starts to sing, like he does in I Love the Sun.
It lessens the damage.

59% is not a bad start straight off the blocks!

...it's another grower by Mr. Redfern for sure. I've thouroughly enjoyed this new album too, especial the last song <don't worry> with Becky Unthank. Concise, chilling and heart felt.I still think he looks like that character from King Of The Hill - John Redcorn! |
