Like this version but agree with the second opinion. Why not upload the original studio version for consideration? |

She also did the duet vocals on The Core from Slowhand as well as other backing vocals on that disc. |

Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood - Live from Madison Square Garden (2008):
"History rocked and rock made history during a sold-out three-gig stand at Madison Square Garden in late February 2008 when icons Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood performed a concert together for the first time since their all-too-brief days in the legendary Blind Faith in 1969. Whether they will ever team again is unknown. But with Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood Live From Madison Square Garden, fans everywhere are able to experience the sound and the glory of a performance on that famous stage by two of rock's greatest artists."
Personnel: Eric Clapton (guitar/vocals), Steve Winwood (guitar/vocals/keyboards), Willie Weeks (bass), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Ian Thomas (drums).
"Can't Find My Way Home" writen by Steve Winwood, from studio-album "Blind Faith" is the self-titled album by the British supergroup Blind Faith, which consisted of Eric Clapton (The Yardbirds, Cream), Ginger Baker (Graham Bond Organisation, Cream), Steve Winwood (Spencer Davis Group, Traffic) and Ric Grech (Family).

There sometimes comes parts of the past that feel as good as your favorite easy chair, surrounding and comforting. Courtiers of the highest degree.

For me though, easily the best version is the one on Eric Clapton's album "Time Pieces Vol II - Live In The Seventies", mainly because it has this great harmony running all the way through it. This was the first version I heard, and every other version I've hear subsequently hasn't had the harmony in the verses and just lacks something. Does anyone know who does the harmony on the version I've mentioned? Is it a woman or is it Winwood singing in falsetto?
Have answered my own question via quick Google. It was Yvonne Elliman (Mary Magdalene from Jesus Christ Superstar!). |

While I really enjoy this version of this song, it's a little too heavily played in RP's rotation for me right now.
