If commercial FM rockers only knew-but they're all deaf or drunk-imagine if this band got some solid airplay. Most excellent musicians, lotsa excellent originals, even the fillers reflect serious musicianship, And they've maintained like, the music matters, not the sellout. RP!! It's become essential! Funds,You Lazys1 Where else wouldja gotten a shot like that whiile ya gear up for workin'? I'm takin' up pluggin', well, doin' all that beggin' between sets, Bill's goin for exasperation.and maybe put the Dandy Warhols on shuffle while he goes on a staycation until we get up off it. I like the song so far (only about a minute in) but this guy WISHES he sounds like Chris Cornell. Cornell's voice is the pinnacle of modulated testosterone imho... not that that is ALWAYS good, but it has a very important role to play in certain songs ;) And I totally understand someone not liking Testosterone tea... I do though... occasionally... in moderation.

Edit: Every once in awhile I say something and realize how it will almost DEFINITELY not come out right... and I guess that happens occasionally. But it takes a special sort of goof to go ahead and hit send anyway. Not backing off of saying "I like Chris Cornell", and I do amuse myself with the metaphor but... I can't imagine too many people will inhabit that tiny little space of reality where they chuckle along with me. Leaving the comment intact though... if only to teach myself a lesson.

Just prior to this albums australian release my younger brother threw a tantrum that stopped me and my older brother from going to an all ages nirvana/violent femmes gig so that we could go to mini-putt instead. Naturally we both punch him every time it comes up in conversation.

Oh definitely. I'm not listening to RP right now though, I've just had that song and riff stuck in my head for decades.

I wake up and "Bang a Gong" is playing in my head. Go eat breakfast—-"Bang a Gong" playing in my head still.Work- same shit.

Sometimes it stops, but usually only after a severe manic episode which I shake of through a variety of self medication and healing practices.

Then it starts again.

Worst thing to happen to me since " Achy Breaky Heart"

Well, it was actually before, but I'm getting distracted by the groove.

Hub cap diamond star halo? Like I'll be able to sleep tonight trying to figure that line out.

OK- I've got to go pitch a Wang Dang Doodle tonight too, so I'm off.

Ya think?.

I love how this always says "Black Boys on Mope" in the Now Playing list.

I like to pretend it's a Sinead O'Connor parody of the old Tubes classic.

I'm easily amused sometimes.

Of course, this is no longer the case with the current website design, but it's still an amusing song comment.

Now that you say it, I can picture it as well. Starring George Clooney, a few black Chevrolet Suburbans or Tahoes, an underhanded mid to high-level State Department employee affiliated with Haliburton, a Jordanian protaganist looking to rid his community of corruptive radical groups flush with state department cash, and the young and beautiful school teacher with a little brother with one good eye...and she's secretly with the radical groups. Queue the music!
