Excellent! I have a book from the 20s on how to letter show cards . I should scan it, too.

Unfortunately, the author of the article refers to typefaces as "fonts", but the book the article is about is fascinating - incredible work, really.

Thanks. Good to know. I was also trying to figure it out for emails but my company uses Lotus Notes for email and I'd have to go to IT to have them "allow" it. Frikkin' corporations.

you might have some kind of chart thing on your computer. mac has something called Character Viewer and Keyboard Viewer.
