Interesting story... the fence-jumping dog directly behind us - that they generally keep tethered - got into the yard with the new neighbor's two barkers and mauled them. New neighbor supposedly swore out a complaint, built a barrier in the corner of the fence and is talking about installing a new, stockade fence. In the meantime, she's keeping her dogs inside her house most of the time.

Our neighbors seem to have adopted another cat, whom we're calling Satchmo because he's black and has a very interesting, gravely voice - and has a lot to say.
