Having just learned that Dale Sveum used to play for the White Sox, I now wonder if Marmol is just an incompetent being used by Sveum to throw games. {#Think}

No,Marmol just sucks that bad for real.I bet the starting pitchers are pooling their money to hire a hit man.

Why bother? It's the Cubs. They'll lose for free. ;)

And now a single. He just needs a double and triple to pitch for the cycle.

Marmol coming on in the 9th in a save situation! WTF is Dale thinking? {#Frustrated}
I swear sometimes I think Epstein has him playing for draft picks.

It's so nice to see someone hit a lead off double hit against the Cubs just stay there.

BTW: Those of you not watching it really ought to go to the video section of gameday and watch the "Cubs score on Mets errors" play

Once again the Cubs are forcing their starter to get the RBIs himself if he wants a win.

The AC is for Anno Catuli (in the year of our Cubs) the 04 is the years since we won the division, 67 the years since we were in the series, and 104 years since we actually won it. It's all a very loose Latin translation. Catuli is most often used to mean puppy but can be a young animal of any sort. A real Latin scholar with no knowledge of baseball would probably come up with something like "Let us proceed whelps" for it but Google translate thinks it means "Go Cubs"

Yeah, I remember reading about it somewhere and the word "whelp" being used....
