I believe, based on things that have happened to me, that a great deal of the activity on ebay occurs in the final 60 minutes of the product's availability period. Congratulations!
Ebay should implement some sort of "wobbly end time" that says "might end anywhere between Here and Here" with that range being over about 4 hours. Because I won't bid on anything without using a service like ezsniper to place my bid at the last second. It's no fun at all to watch an auction, put in a bid, think you're going to win and then in the last 5 seconds 12 more bids come in and take the auction. If the end time were fuzzy it would put the fun back in. Or at least if there's a bid placed in the last, say, 10 minutes, the auction gets extended by an hour, so if you're checking and get sniped, you can respond if you want.
