A funny story. We found that our dog settles down at night (doesn't wander the house) if we play certain music softly on a loop for him. This is his 'Bob' mix, and it contains a selection of Marley and Dylan songs. He doesn't settle for all music. At night he walks up to the computer, when the last person is going to bed, so that we can put his music on.
This is part of the Bob mix.

yeah, sure, in who's dreams

Have to laugh at the uncanny reality of that comment. Btw, this tune is so dull to me. I'd be willing to bet that being in a live setting hearing this tune...it would be far more interesting.

Not be a 10? Because Jimmy Cliff must be given at least a few points.

How could it be less than a 10? An anthem to what is, a hymn to what was, and a haiku to what could be.

Sounds like it was performed in my local pub, opening for the Macc Lads.

I don't believe in karma either, but yes, I called god an evil shithead. I would say the same about any other fictitious character, whose name I would likely also capitalize. I'm always amazed how many people make excuses for god and all of the atrocities attributed to him. "Everyone in my village died from the plague but god spared me! Thank god!"

Really?

Why did god kill him then? What an evil shithead to inflict such a horrible disease on him with full knowledge of how he would suffer.

Godlike. A beneficent God with a heavenly chorus telling me "Everything gonna be alright."

I want to believe you, mon. Won't bet the ranch on it, but want to believe you.

No doubt about the quality of Bob Marley, but every song of his, and especially this one, make me feel that time is standing still. They never stop.

I'm not a Bob Marley fan or a fan of reggae in general, but this song has always moved me. I love it.
