PeteyGreens Jan 13, 2012 - 12:51 | It is worth noting that this song was part of a cycle of songs on the album that were supposed to be taken as a whole, not individual parts. It loses something standing alone, but was one of the more distictive songs on the album. That is why best hits albums of a certain era by a specific artist lose something in translation. |
SpamNRice Oct 08, 2008 - 04:36 | It's always nice to her something you've never heard before — hippy trippin' or not... ...very relaxing — and I don't even have the proper supplements to really enjoy! |
tiggers Oct 08, 2008 - 04:32 | More hippy nonsense. A well deserved 2 |
tomtj30 Sep 06, 2008 - 14:25 | Vinyl downstairs, unplayed in 15 years. Time to dig it out for sure. Feeling trippy now |
stevesaw Sep 06, 2008 - 14:24 | Once again I must stop what I'm doing and just sit back and listen. Thanks Bill. The last time you played this I went out and bought a bunch of Steve Miller stuff - been really enjoying it. |

sharkartist Apr 01, 2008 - 23:08 | Steve Miller is one of those ones who really had something interesting to say and had the chops to back it up when he was coming up. Then came the commercial crap.
They say hope burns eternal in the hearts of men. I'm holding out hope that Steve might find that buried vision he once posessed, just as Steve Winwood has, finally. It's gotta be in there somewhere. |
TimeWaster Apr 01, 2008 - 23:00 | I'd never heard this until now - very cool! Yes, the beginning is weird, and it does sound a bit Floyd-ish. Love the Hammond, too.
Someone posted earlier that this song takes too long to start for it to be played on RP. I disagree - I think that RP is the perfect place for this kind of music. |
That_SOB Mar 01, 2008 - 10:07 | Had the distinct pleasure of seeing Mr. Miller several times. His drummer was outstanding and when they took the stage Miller would say, "Hello I'm Stevie Guitar Miller." This album was actually required listening back in "The Day." |
Candela Mar 01, 2008 - 09:58 | Freaky start of this song.. aaayyy.. |
Cruithne3753 Mar 01, 2008 - 09:58 | Thought it was my own lower intestines playing up there... Hang on, it's starting to go a bit Pink Floyd-ey... |

8, overall. |
