Agree with you on Gram/Mott. Marshall Crenshaw belongs on a geek channel with the Proclaimers, though.

This song kills me, but I like the Weird Al version better.

Now, if this was "Pop Goes The World" it'd get at least a 5, but...

I'll be nice... a 3. Please don't play this anymore

I wonder if this song was ever popular in gay clubs.

How can someone dislike this bit of 80's fluff?

I'd love to know who the 12 people are who gave this a 10! This just isn't a song -- whether I like it or not-- that I can see anyone thinking is Godlike. Those 12 people and their God(s) must have a unique view of life--which isn't a bad thing.

Yeah it's a fun pop song from the 80s, but it's nothing godlike for sure. I give it a 5.

It was all a bit tongue in cheek and, if you ever watched the video, this would be more apparent. I do not think they wanted to be taken seriously but just wanted a bit of fun and, by the look of it, that is what they got.

Bill seems to agree with his comments i.e. a soft spot for this song after watching the video on MTV.

More irreverence please Bill
