GH... as a vital a force in the advance of Western civilization - linking us to the East - as John and Paul in pushing us to cosmic understanding.

Two GH tunes in a row. Time to get the wallet out and do my bit to support your great efforts!

Any version of this with George singing is OK with me.

The irony of it! It's snowing in London! Great song to listen to in the middle of a winter afternoon.

It will be snowing in Boston (again) around 10 pm tonight. I'm ready for the sunshine, and thelocals tell me this won't be the last snow of the winter.

No, is is a guitar capoed at the 7th fret. Play the A chord as a D and you will have that sound.

Same as the riff for If I Needed Someone.

George Harrison is still the one who gave me peace when things were crazy. I love his music, with and without the Beatles. If that makes me an uneducated dork, so be it.

Not a dork at all, Cynaera. George was always my favourite Beatle. Always love your commentary!

In an aside: I realize the American spell check does not approve of my stubbornly using British commonwealth spelling. However, while I am not surprised that Beatles is considered a proper word, the singular is surprisingly viewed as a mispelling.

Very sunny and bright-George was sooo underrated as a Beatle. {#Sunny}

He could take something basic, something we pretty much take for granted, sunrise, and convert it into a paean of rebirth and joy. Moreso, given who he was and what he went through—I mean Beatlemania...really—that he could pull this one out of his hat in the middle of all that amazes me to this day.

I was just thinking along those lines, the wisdom conveyed in the simplicity...my first kid´s cot doll had this tune, my wife and I are from South America and we were living in London when he was born and the lack of sun killed us, so this was always a balm.

I have a graduation ceremony to attend tonight - outside. It's been raining, intermittently hailing, with possible lightning on the way. This song can't hurt the cosmic vibe. {#Sunny}
