I spent a few years in Japan as a kid and I had red hair. I was always getting my head rubbed for good luck by locals who talked to my Mom or Dad. Or they might give me a little gift. I wonder if she experienced that or if that custom is still alive. Brings back memories. I grew up next to a family that had a daughter who had bright red hair. They took a vacationbusiness trip to China and she so frequently had her hair rubbed and head touched, that her hair would be greasy and hang in a matted mess by the end of the day. Poor girl was such a good sport about it too, surprising considering that she wasn't even a teenager then. I wonder what ever happened to them? |

That sounds like a terrific night of music. I really enjoy them both. My late husband was madly in love with Dar. |
