I'm struggling here. I have always said Alison Krauss could sing me the gas bill and I'd rate it a ten, but Mr. Douglas...that timing, that style...he makes me smile every time...so he can play me a transcription of the playable letters in the gas bill legal wording and I'll rate that a ten...how's that?

Or you could make it easy on yourself and get the Union Station CDs.

Edgar Meyer has a talent for playing a part in consistently brilliant instrumentals of all sorts, as well as for playing the fat fiddle as well as he does. I was introduced to his 'Unfolding' album from '86 during the early '90s and have been hooked since. Also great to see him getting involved at last in BBC4's transatlantic celtic/bluegrass sessions on tv along with long time co conspirator Bela Fleck. Check also Bela's 'Crossfire' tune featuring em both alongside some fiendish fiddlin frenzy!
Cheers mi duck!

This has the sound of union station...not as good but still good stuff.

Ever wonder why that might be? ;)

AndyJ - not a Cello, but an Arco Bass .

Lots of Nu2Mi music using the cello... Very interesting and cool...adds a depth that the guitar lacks and the bass is too deep...
Thanks... I keep buying music I first hear here... This is getting expensive... 2-3-5 CDs a day is a bit more than I can/should afford... course, being holidays and nothing to do but listen and surf... If I don't get back to work, I won't be able to afford music... Still better'n alcohol or drugs... but... Call me "Konflicted..."

Had the pleasure of seeing these guys at the edmonton folk festival in 1989 when i was 17 the first and last time ever in Canada. Amazing players and really down to earth modest people.
