It is inconsequential non sequitors, all together that bring me to another relaxation moment away from the severity of life, at any particular time of my life, since I first heard it some many years ago. So, if it is or is not a classic that will be listened to or forgotten 100 years from now or 500 years from, it made its artistic and emotional monument with me, with my many friends and that is good enough. Let other people and other times make the most of their era, as I have with music from the dark side of the moon. It doesn't hurt to hear this after 1am east coast time. Thanks for the vibe. Funny you should write that, though, because Floyd have just released a 'collectors edition' of Dark Side with all sorts of song versions on it, for the Floyd connor-sewers. At £45 a pop I'll not be getting it, but I'm sure it'll sell bucketloads to the nostalgic middle-aged. [ Reply ]
