Is WHAT a great country? The world is not limited to wherever you live, you know.

This album is really just an homage to reaction/liberation from the current expectations demanded from the next generation by the current generation-nothing new there. But the reactions expressed here to hopelessness of the then current paradigm don't always get expressed with each generation-it's a pendulum I guess. And it seems we are back in that 60s mindset, fast-forward issues, but not values-those remain constant, but they are like mushrooms-here today and gone tomorrow, but back next year. Is this a great country or what?? !!!

Heavy man. I'm with Fred, I never have really tried to completely understand the lyrics, I just marvel at the execution, the music, the singing, the playing.

All incredibly brilliant and epic and breathtakingly delivered that many times I've seen it done live.

This song became sort of new for me when I watched the BBC show, "Life on Mars"...which is, really...amazing television. I think there was an American version, but, the English show was compelling in ways that are hard to describe.

I only watched the first episode of the US remake. It had a great moment, but for the most part it was too faithful to the original to keep my interest. Not like Being Human - now that's how you do a remake - keep the basic concept and turn everything else upside down! Then you have TWO good series worth watching (even though the last season of the UK Being Human might have jumped the shark)!

it means the spacemen are coming to save us

Oh dear. I had only given this a 3, but my husband tells me he rates it as sucko-barfo and he does not understand why it gets airtime, and he has lost respect for Rick Wakeman for having played on the album, and, and, and... So I just muted it, for the sake of marital harmony. See you all soon again...

Your husband is quite correct in his scoring and as its said ''Hubby knows best''
