Anyone know where you can stream the Chris Isaak Show?

He played here in Austin last Sunday night. He was eloquent, polite and put on a perfecf show. He exceeded al of my expectations. He puts on a great live show.

The guitar player was Calvin James Wilsey. Once he was gone, Chris lost the soul in his sound.

rated this an 8 just because I remember seeing Chris in 1985 (when Silvertone came out) at the Keystone in Palo Alto, CA. Great show. I miss those days...

I believe this is the late-great Danny Gatton on the geetar. That pushes it to a 7 for me.

You mean the part where it goes bum-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum-bum-chucka. I don't know if that's copyrightable.

Especially since that that percussive-guitar embellishment is in hundreds of songs before and after "Radar Love".

Very nice transition from "Baby Please Don't Go"

Wow, lots of heavy analysis of Mr. Isaak and this music. I think this is just pure and plain pop music — unscrew your brain and enjoy!

More like surf music moved out of the garage and grown up a little.

Ya know, when Chris Isaak first came out with Heart Shaped Box I thought to myself.. this kid could be the new Elvis, I thought he was that good.

He has a very distinctive voice and though country music isn't my thing, there's something very sexy in his twang and I could listen to his rockabilly for hours.

For a real wild tune, check out Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing.... you won't keep still.

Interesting take on his music, I always thought it was early Elvis (Presley) that he was targeting( or Roy Obison ). In fact I hear a little "That's Alright Mama" in this tune. I think they were going for that Sun Records sound.
