This song is sooo good with headphones on cranked. The bass is great throughout the song. To have the band be this tight on a live song is awesome.

I love the way Lou stumbles into the first line of the first verse, treading all over Wagner's brilliant solo. You can almost see the band's collective jaw dropping in disbelief.

I like it OK, gave it a 7. However, Lou Reed can't carry a tune in a bucket, otherwise I would rate it higher.

Cowboy Junkies did a nice, sleepy cover of this song.

Really, there's singing on this? LOL Sorry, I've always really liked the guitars, especially the intro. Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner. Steve Hunter was in the screen band for the movie "The Rose" with Bette Midler.

I got to see Lou Reed do this in Chicago in the day. That was one one the best R'n'R shows I ever saw. Right up there with Bob Dylan and the Band in '74, the Who (doing Tommy and Quadrphenia) and the Dead every time.

Just when the guitar blast into the chords Lou hits the stage. It was powerful intro.

A monument to a generation. Thanks for saying the prayers I needed so bad when I was a kid, Lou.

For the last 38 years, whenever I hear those opening chords I know it's time to put down the tools and ROCK! {#Bananajam}

Now Jackie - he's a banker. And Jane - she's a clerk. Always loved that line and the guitar god intro....
