Here's the thing.

How the fug did they manage to slip in and out of waltz time so seamlessly?

It should be jarring.

Damn the Beatles.

Damn their clever little souls.

Absolutely fantastic song. 66/67 was the best for these guys. Well, all the years were good. And I have my tickets for Macca!

This was there very best album: maximum quality of music, minimum associated star turning and general madness. Gave this tune a 9. Most of the cuts on "Revolver" were 9+.

Well illustrated. I think an analogy, if you know basketball history, is almost everyone acknowledges Michael Jordan was the best player ever.

There were many other great players - many of whom could well be the favorite of a given fan - but Michael stands above them all.

Happily, it's only a cover.

Thanks for all the not-so-well-known Beatle tunes you play, Bill! Ummmm, now that I think about it, are there Beatle tunes that are not well known?

Very very few maybe less than any other serious artists (pop commercial high selling crap excluded of course). A true sign of greatness.

Maybe not a better ALBUM than Sgt. Pepper, but surely their voices and grooves were at their peak.
