mgtomFeb 27, 2013 - 12:29 | There are very few songs I hear on RP that I absolutely despise. This is one of them. PSD>> PDQ. |
| i agree, and i LOVE band of Horses -mechanic1 |

JMHO, |
| Terrible |
| The harmony is OK, but these lyrics are from a book entitled "How to Write Bad". Sucko-barfo. |
| Bozo wrote: Wow...people either like or don't like this song.... Actually, this song has ratings pretty heavily weighted to the upper end. There are plenty of other songs in RP rotation that have a very polarizing effect, but this one isn't one of them. I'm always amused when I see songs where the ratings form a very clear inverted bell curve - with most of the scores in the 1-2 range and in the 9-10 range. And I'm doubly amused when it seems that my favorite bands fall into this polarizing category - Dead Can Dance, Cocteau Twins, etc... Band of Horses is a consistent 7 for me. Another in a long list of good bands to which I'd be oblivious were it not for RP. |
| Good Harmony |
| Very nice tune! |
| La la la di dum di da di do...just singing along until I learn the lyrics. |
| I enjoy the music of this band |

Yes, I also find a lot of music here that I did not get to hear in the "dry 90's/oughts" when there didn't seem to be any radio stations without screaming, mindless DJs and equally mindless music. However I was lucky in the 60's, 70's and 80's to listen to excellent FM radio, yet Bill & Rebecca still play stuff from those time periods I've never even heard. What a treasure this station is! |

| It grows on you, like the band. Simple but effective. Optimally listenable if not quite worthy of a zillion repeats. |

| I wouldn't call Band of Horses brilliant, but I do get a warm and happy feeling everytime I listen to them. The albums are also easy listening from beginning to end. Solid 8 for this one :) |
| Love it. |
