"Never gonna break no corncrake" - I should hope not, as they're rare and elusive creatures:

I almost never care about the singer's voice in rock music, except when they constantly use a lame falsetto like this guy. Nearly unlistenable for me.

Funny, with marvelous harmonization! What really cracks me up, it that these guys all look like a bunch of lumberjacks or ice fishermen or something.

Gaaaaaack! I do not get the love for this dude/band. Then again, I may be an acquired taste as well. {#Eek}

I'll take "Mister Blue Sky" over this any day of the week!

This doesn't sound much like any Jeff Lynne work that I've ever heard - not that I know his whole catalog.

You're not supposed to hang the hips of your underwear on your shoulders, boys.

This caused a nasty flashback to Tiny Tim tiptoeing through the tulips. Ugh.

Promising beginning but quickly turns into a bloodless bore. This is the equivalent of sonic Unisom.

Having the PRECISE same reaction I had the first day I heard Talking Heads (how the hell can I remember that from 30 years ago but can't find my glasses? WTF?) Eerie, high-concept, good musicianship. Don't comprehend this at all—must stretch brain to hear. That's good. 7.

I try and avoid negatively commenting on bands based on vocal styles, but I can't abide by what I hear from these guys. Their music stands on its own as interesting and creative. You're a band, not a boys choir. Your voice doesn't have to be on par with the other instruments in the band (of which there are, like, 20). The only person rock singers pay homage to when they sing falsetto is the late, great Tiny Tim.
