However, this is a blast of fresh air. Oh, I missed out the Tabla quintet, the Aussie trekker, the sensitive Femmes and assorted scarf twirlers. [ Reply ]

Personally I think Yo Yo Ma in the old mountain folk genre is too polished. Where it shines in technique and clarity is exactly where it lacks in soul and authenticity. Yo Yo has certainly branched out, reinventing his brand and expanding the audience in these days when classical music concerts are less well attended and CD sales are down.
