ce May 24, 2013 - 02:40 | It took me a few moments to realise it was NOT that Led Zeppelin song with a very similar guitar in the intro. I can't think of the title right now. |
TerryS Apr 22, 2013 - 18:47 | Time to get me Hot Tuna T shirt out...... |
k-man Jan 18, 2013 - 13:13 | Hot Tuna swept through Santa Cruz a few months ago, so happy to see Jack again! The encore: Water Song !! Ho boy, was I ecstatic! My GF, not knowing their catalogue, wasn't quite sure why I was jumping up and down, until she got a drift of the song after the first couple of measures. Man, that semi-hollow bass, we lovin' it! And Jorma's custom Martin, those boys know sound. :-) |
d-don Jan 18, 2013 - 13:11 | Go Jorma! I've loved this song ever since hearing it when it first came out. So pure, clean, a good spirit to it. |

tpepper Oct 23, 2012 - 20:40 | Water Song, the ultimate song for my running play list while I run the Carmel/Big Sur Coast. Magical, transformative! I heard this in my teens and in my early 50's, still one of the most beautiful transcendental pieces ever. Beautiful combination of a driving base and uplifting rythym melody. LOVE IT! |
bitbanger Oct 16, 2012 - 11:43 | Saw them in the Hershey Park Arena with Papa John. Dang, what a show. Saw Starship shortly thereafter. Thought the best part of the Airplane left to HT. |

joelbb Sep 14, 2012 - 22:24 | As good as he was, Jorma was always obscured by Hendrix, Clapton, etc. And Jack Casady was just one awesome R&R bassist, maybe THE best. These Hot Tuna albums have way more than their share of virtuoso musicianship (Poppa John Creech was no slouch, either). |

Wonderful then, more wonderful now! Woah, dude! I remember WDBS very fondly! I even sorta knew "Doctor Dave" Searles and the rest of the crew from the mid- to late-70s! Great station and great people - them was the days! |
