for anybody that knows even a bit about psychiatry, the lyrics are bollocks

the tune ain't that good either

I'm glad it got released though, to prove even a "deity" like Jimi can make mistakes, too {#Mrgreen}

Great track from my favorite Hendrix album. Wish I still had the Vinyl...

The idea that one man, one very magical man, was able to do so much, with one guitar and friends so firm in the grip and grasp of such an unbound mind and unhindered spirit...just kinda blows my freaking mind, like only Jimmy can. Way on up, this one goes, every time!

I did too... but unfortunately my pathetic little desktop speakers do not do the song justice.

Not an individual song I might put on very often,

but it always seems to hit the spot when someone else does.

Was in Seattle last week for work and took some time to take in the Experience Music Project (EMP) museum. Fantastic exhibit on Hendrix in London (as well as Nirvana and the Stones '72 American tour). Great museum!

Thanks for playing this, Bill. This is one Hendrix piece that isn't played much... and another showcase for Redding and Mitchell, too.

when posting replies to gigantic photos, it is possible to shrink them. Some of us like to read actual comments.

I realize I've gone completely off the reservation but to me Band of Gypsys was the sh**t! there was some brilliant albeit brief work done there. a heavier sound with cox and miles,and some absolute ripass giiittarr.... case in point...lonesome train
