This is a profound song... it always reminds me of relative deprivation ...

Rock is emotional. Perfection has little to do with a great song more often than not.

Funny title since I always get exactly what I want when this one is played.

I'll second that. The man has an impressive history.

Finally gonna see them live this summer. Jake Bugg as warm up. Not too shabby Alonso.

And I went down to the Chelsea drugstore
To get your prescriptions filled
I was standin' in line with Mr. Jimmy
And man, did he look pretty ill

We decided to have a soda
"Whatcha favorite flavor?", "Cherry red"
And I sung my song to my friend Jimmy
And he said one word back to me, that was "Dead"

Pure brilliance. The bar has been set high for lyrical prose.

Oh, by the way, I was being sarcastic!

"Oh, by the way, I was being sarcastic !"

Back the day,1980, I had two college room mates that loved the Stones. I never cared much for TRS. "Praise the lord I have seen the light!". It took years of musical maturity to discover a great band

Why do I hate Mick Jagger (the rooster on acid)? Must be a childhood issue.

I think the world would be a better place if the Stones had never come along. (The only blight on British music).

Time to turn the volume down.

Can't agree.

Yet more proof that Mick Taylor was the heart of this band.

Funny, I never liked this song that much, yet it always evokes the 60's for me. Anyone know who the lady in question is?
